The Shaughnessy Parent Council executive would like to thank everyone who made our first Fun Fair a wonderful experience. It was very good to see our school and community families get together for an evening of fun and camaraderie.

In particular, we would like to recognize the following stakeholders for their contributions:

• The Henry Farm Community Interest Association (HFCIA) who inspired the fun fair idea and provided generous financial and volunteer support.

• Our corporate sponsors, including: Cuthbertson Entertainment & Events, Parkway Forest Foodland and Canadian Tire at 1019 Sheppard Ave. East.

• Principal Nichols and the many teachers and students who "got dunked" to show their school spirit.

• The parents, community members, teachers and students who worked hard behind the scenes and in the front lines to make this event run as smoothly as possible.

We look forward to continuing this tradition in future years. It has strengthened the ties of our community and raised funds to enrich the education of Shaughnessy Public School students.
