March Volunteer Request

Dear Parents,

Your parent council is looking for volunteers for the Popcorn Wednesdays and Friday Pizza lunches in March. For each date volunteers will be present who have previously done the event, but we are in need of additional helpers. Thank you for any time you are able to offer. Below is a sign up form for each of the fundraisers and a description of what is required.

Thank you to all of our Volunteers in January and February !

Please hit reply and then insert your name next to the time you are able to volunteer or put this flyer in the lock box with your name and phone number/email.

Again, both the Parent Council and Shaughnessy PS thank you very much for any and all time you are able to volunteer.

The next Shaughnessy Public School council meeting will be at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 (the first day back after the long weekend!). It will be held in the Shaughnessy Public School Staff Room.

Reminder: Popcorn will be sold this Wednesday, February 8, 2012

Good Afternoon Parents,

Popcorn will be sold for one dollar a bag during afternoon recess this Wednesday (February 8, 2012).

Please note that during the week of our February 14 Valentine bake sale (February 13 - 17th), we will not have any popcorn or pizza fundraisers.

Tomorrow evening: All Candidates Meeting for Ward 17 School Trustee


Community Announcement: All Candidates Meeting for Ward 17 School Trustee tomorrow evening at 7 pm (February 7, 2012)

The Henry Farm Community Interest Association and the Parent Advisory Council at Shaughnessy Public School will be hosting an All Candidates meeting for the upcoming School Trustee elections for our Ward 17.
At 7 pm the candidates will share their platforms with the community in the Shaughnessy Public School gym.

At 7:30 pm the Henry Farm Community Interest Association will commence their executive meeting in the staff room.

Between 7:30 and 8:00 pm community members, parents and guardians will have the opportunity to ask the School Trustee candidates questions in the gym.

Parents and community members are encouraged to attend this meeting as it will provide an excellent forum to hear from all the candidates for School Trustee.
