If you are looking for something to do now that there is a 2 month hiatus from volunteering at Shaughnessy Public School, please consider tonight's meeting:

Project Development Meeting
Pleasant View Community Centre (545 Van Horne Ave)
Thursday, June 25, 2015
6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Dinner will be provided!

This PB Project Development meeting is your chance to turn your idea, or an idea you've heard that excites you, into a real project proposal. One of the project proposals being discussed at tonight's meeting is to install speed bumps on Shaughnessy Blvd (South of Sheppard).

To get a project on the ballot, which everyone in Ward 33 will get to vote on in September, the idea must be turned into a project proposal, and must have a Project Champion -- that could be you!

Shaughnessy Public School Fun Fair

Tonight!

6pm to 8pm 

• If possible, please walk to the Fun Fair, the school parking lot will be closed. 

The Toronto Fire Department, and Police have graciously accepted our invitation to join our Fun Fair and let us see the inside of their vehicles. However, if there is an emergency, they might have to leave us in great haste. Therefor we can not permit any vehicles in the parking lot.

•  Come join us for the Bouncy Castle, K9 Unit, "Island Accent" Steel Drum Band, Mini Bikes, and Food and Drinks.

• Ms. Cook is Retiring! Please join us as we offer her Thanks & Best Wishes on her retirement.

 

 



Spring Fun Fair Tomorrow Night!

A quick reminder that the Spring Fun Fair is tomorrow night from 6pm to 8 pm(Thursday) at Shaughnessy Public School!

Please be advised that the Shaughnessy School Spring Fun Fair has been postponed to Thursday, June 11, 2015 because of the inclement weather forecast for Tuesday, June 9.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday evening!

Volunteers Needed for the Shaughnessy Spring Fair!

Volunteers Needed for the Spring Fair on the evening of Tuesday, June 9.

Do you have 30 or 60 minutes?

Having a successful and safe event requires many volunteers. Your School Council has been busy getting everything organized for a great Spring Fair, however, we are in need of volunteers for the evening of the event.

Volunteers, please email or return this form to your child's teacher. Upon arrival at the event, please check in at the ticket table to confirm your available times and we will let you know where we would like you to help us out for the duration you have noted.

If you are unable to volunteer this time, please come out and support this fun community event. Lots to do, rides, games, raffle, silent auction, steel drum band, cotton candy, hot dogs, popcorn and more.
