Below is an Arts program if you are interested.




The Claude Watson School for the Arts offers an enriched arts education for students in grades four through eight who reside within Toronto and have demonstrated a talent in music, drama, dance and visual arts.
Entry to the Claude Watson program is by audition only.
Information sessions will be held for parents interested in applying to the program on October 18 and 19 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Registration is not required.

Shaughnessy School Parent Council Meeting

Good evening All,

 

I hope everyone had a great weekend! We have our first School Parent Council Meeting on September 27, 2011 at 6:30pm at Shaughnessy P.S. in the Staff Room. We hope that many of you will attend. We will be voting and selecting a new School Parent Council Executive. For those interested in a position please review the outline of each job on the Shaughnessy website. Here is what will be discussed:

• student photos
• internet safety workshops for parents (we got the grant in case you didn't hear!)
• pizza lunches
• fundraisers for the year

Community Barbecue: 5-6pm in the playground, weather permitting. Hamburger, drink & chips $5. Hot dog, drink & chips $4. Coffee and Hot Chocolate $1.

Curriculum Night: 6:30pm in the gym, classroom sessions at 6:45 and 7:30pm.

Hey everyone (apologies if you're getting this for the 2nd time, but now with the date),

It’s time to come out this Thursday, have a bite at the BBQ and hear about your child’s school program for this year (from the person who’ll be delivering it!)  And of course you don’t want to miss another of my inspirational, thrilling speeches…
