Popcorn Wednesdays continues and SPS shirt orders due tomorrow

Good Morning,

Due to popular demand Popcorn Wednesdays will continue every Wednesday until (at least) the Winter Holidays!

SPS t-shirt orders are due tomorrow. If you would like to buy a shirt for a student, or yourself, please fill out and return the t-shirt order form. The forms were sent out in the students' shuttles. There are extra forms in the Shaughnessy Public School main office and on the table in the main foyer of the school. You can also download and print your own t-shirt form here.

A paper calendar from the Parent Advisory Council will be sent home in the students' shuttle. For quick reference, the calendar is also available online here.

Pizza Friday

Pizza Lunch !

Friday November 25th

The pizza lunch program is one of the most successful fundraising initiatives at Shaughnessy PS with proceeds reinvested in the school. The kids love it and the best part is, you don’t have to make a lunch that day.

$2 Per Slice (cheese or pepperoni)

Please remember to bring your own refillable water or juice container and snack.

The pizza meets the new healthier Ontario School Food and Beverage Policy standards.

The parent council will be having our first Fundraising Committee meeting Today, November 9, at 6:30 PM in the lunch room at Shaughnessy Public School. Everyone is welcome. If you have suggestions, ideas or are interested in volunteering please attend this meeting.

We will also have a guest speaker from Toronto Public Health who will give a presentation on PPM 150 (the new School Food and Beverage Policy).
